View from Mamhead Point on a sunny December morning, the photo hasn’t picked this up and it looks a bit overcast? The composition was simple enough, it was all of the different shades of green that would be the problem.

Finished painting, trying to get the blues and greens to work together is tricky, but having the option of the three Yellows and two Blues will help.
All the Yellows were used in different quantities with Ultramarine blue, white and the mix was thin with turpentine. Very loosely I sketched in the basic shapes and trying to get the tone and colour close to the subject as possible. When starting the painting try to keep the paint thin with turps so you can lay a thicker layer of paint on top, this method is called Fat over Lean.
More colour for the blues in the sky and water, Ultramarine blue, Cerulean blue and burnt sienna. Adding in darks for the foreground and trees, mixes of blues browns and purples. Finally details and high lights with a small oil rigger brush
